How to apply for a grant:
- Read our ‘Criteria’ page to check that you are eligible to apply.
- Download the below Application Form.
- Complete and sign all relevant sections, either on the computer or by hand.
- Email your application form as a PDF file or scanned images (not photographs) to devonedtrust@outlook.com
- Alternatively, post your application to the address at the top of the form. Please do not use a ‘signed for’ service, as there is no one available at the PO Box address to provide a signature. We recommend that you keep a copy of your application.

Application Closing Dates:
Our Trustees meet three times a year to consider grant applications.
The application submission deadlines are:
- 1st February (for applications to be considered at our March meeting)
- 1st June (for our July meeting)
- 1st October (for our November meeting)
After you have applied:
- We will email you to confirm that we have received your grant application.
- We will contact your two referees.
- At our meeting, the Trustees will consider each application received by the relevant closing date (see above).
- We will notify you in writing of the Trustees’ decision. You should receive this email or letter by the end of either March, July or November.
- The Trustees’ decision is final.
If you are awarded a grant:
- You will be asked to complete, sign and return a Declaration Form (confirming that the grant we offer will be used for the purpose stated on your application form) and a Bank Form (confirming the payees’ details).
- Wherever possible, grants are paid directly to the relevant school, college, university or supplier. Payment will be made by bank transfer.
- We ask that you let us know how the grant has helped you, by completing the form on our ‘Send Feedback’ page. Future grant applications may be considered more favourably if you have previously provided feedback.
Some of the above procedures are to satisfy The Charity Commission regulations.
